So, I'm trying to simplify my setup so I can go from tripod to shoulder quicker. As the title suggests, I'm looking for a shoulder pad that either has a built in tripod mount, or a combination of parts that will get me that same thing.
My other requirement is that it must be able to place the camera on top of the shoulder, not in front. I need the weight to be balanced on top of my shoulder. (Yes, I'm using an external monitor.)
I've purchased and returned the Redrock shoulder pad because I don't like their beanbag padding. It's ugly. Just hangs from the frame like.. well, a beanbag. It's bound to get caught on things and even rip.
I'm not aware of another shoulder pad that has a tripod mount and a pad built in. Do you have any suggestions or am I out of luck here?
