I'm looking into setting up a dslr group/event. The group will meet up on one day, split up and get footage for different scenes. We will then distribute all the footage so that everyone can take a stab at doing their own edits and hold a contest for the best one.

Script would have to be short, 10-15 minutes. And since each group will split up, require different actors, since the footage will be captured all at the same time.

I'm new to this, so any ideas on how to source something that would fit would be appreciated. Scenes will be a mix of urban outdoor and the hosts indoor studio location. Thanks for the help.

Hi Greg. Sounds interesting. A good scriptwriter (like me) could come up with something for you. At the risk of sounding mercenary, is there any pay involved?

There is not. It would be for portfolio work, so we will stress that any contributions to the group will be shared in the end.
