Looking for Royalty-Free Music... Any suggestions?

[Flintstone]

I love shooting, I adore editing, but Mozart I am not.  I rely on Royalty Free music for my stuff.  Unfortunately, there aren't many out there that are really good.  I've tried pay per downloads such as Sounddogs.com, and physical media such Digital Juice Backtraxx collection.  Unfortunately, most of it is too cheesy or just plain crap (there a few good ones, but the ratio is really low).  I'm looking for really good to awesome royalty-free music collection, whatever the cost (well almost).  Anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Fred

Hi Fred

Here is one for you. Totally free and you can download as much as you like. Believe it or not, but I downloaded the entire collection, one by one.

Please give them credit if you use them

one suggestion you could try, is putting an ad in the paper..im sure there are plenty of local musicians who would love to grant you use of their stuff for a project.. and alot of them would even custom write or record somthing for you if asked. and its nice to have somthing original and fresh. for you project. just make sure you legally contract it up so that you arent caught up in some legal battle if the thing goes big. most people are happy just to get any sort of exposure, and would accept that as payment enough, unless they already have a foot in the business.
