Looking for Premier Pro Turnkey

I want to graduate from the comsumer version of Pinnacle now that I have some DVX experience. Can someone recommend a vendor that makes a quality turnkey system for Premier Pro. I don't know enough about components to spec out one myself.

I frickin hate the word Turnkey. Just say a system. LOL an NLE system or something. Please everyone dis own that frickin word! Sounds like a military word.
 
Boxx has great "turnkey" [I mean] NLE's for doing full bandwidth HD, pricey [around $52K] and probably overkill for what you might be looking for.

these guys are pretty good and they frequent many of the forums for the products they sell.

You might also check with Adobe, I believe they have some certified partners for that great "turnkey" experience...
 
For the money, check out the HP workstations. I have the XW4100, which I found out about through a review in Videomaker magazine. It's AWESOME! Came with dual-monitor video card, 1GB of ram and including shipping was only $1200. The current version I think is the XW4300. The best part, they come with 3 year, on site tech support.

Ok heres my 2c... research, then do some more research until your upto speed on what you want and whats best for the job as far as components. Then approach several vendors with your component lists and ask for quotes on parts and assembly go to 3 or 4..... usually you can get a good deal this way. When its assembled get them to show the interior of your box and verify the components you ordered and paid for.
