Looking for portable SDI capture into MacBook Pro

Any card, card breakout combinations you'd recommend?
I've stumbled across the Matrox MXO2 LE and the AJA IO Express as options... just wondering about others. I would be using it to capture both SD and HD SDI in the field.

I'd be capturing straight off Sony D35 backs into 2 MacBook Pros in the first usage of them. Also have an HPX 170 and a Canon D5 MII that would come into play later for HD over SDI. Hope that helps!

The HDX-SDI looks pretty good. I see some online... Seems like they come in a laptop and desktop configuration that have either a PC card or Express34 card, right?

I have the Matrox MXO2 and it works great for HD-SDI capture into my MBP.

Yes, actually through MOTU, you can get the extra card so you can use it either way for $49.00.

I was testing it the other night with my HPX-170 and was sending it 1080 30p signal - seemed to squash the image over the capture window in half with the bottom half being green. Looked like a sync issue but it should provide it's own, correct? It sent SD over the SDI fine. Thanks for any advice - I didn't have much time to troubleshoot so I just thought I'd ask someone who has experience with the equipment. I went with the MX02 LE for the laptop and the AJA IO HD for our desktop solutions and some studio flexibility.
