Looking for new editing software

[Foster Kane]

I have been using Premiere Elements 8 and I need to start fresh since it is not working out for me. The main problem is that Elements 8 is a 32 bit while my computer is a Dell Studio XPS 64 bit system.

Should I just upgrade fo CS5? Or just go for something completely different?

How are we to answer this?

First, there is nothing wrong with using a 32bit app on a 64bit machine. Beyond that you've given us no indication of your needs, what camera you shoot with, what kind of projects you're working on, what your budget is, etc. You've essentially given us zero to go on to even try and begin to help you.
