I'm a singer/ songwriter/ producer looking to make a music video to one of my songs.
I am looking for a director who would be interested in collaborating in making a video for it asap.
This is strictly a collaboration effort, ie no money will exchange hands. I am going on a tour of the East Coast of the USA in spring and by then need to have made several videos for the songs on my upcoming promo E.P.
I have serious major label interest and given that the video/s turn out well, your name as a music video director will gain as much exposure as mine.
This opportunity is open to (good) amateurs as well as seasoned pros (as long as they agree to the above).
What will be most important to me, even more important than actual music video making experience will be GREAT ideas. The video must look stylish, contemporary and hopefully feature some innovative techniques or ideas. Another important point is speed and efficiency. The video I wish to shoot first has to be ready for presentation within 3 weeks form today.
You must have the equipment necessary, perhaps you even have a team of volunteers around you, that would be even better.
This is very short notice, but it would be great if we could make this video before I am going to meetings in New York (on the 8th of Feb).
This is a great opportunity as it is open to anyone who can prove that they can do this, not just experienced directors.
