Looking for Modern Military Props

I have a script for a short film that's gonna need a lot of military props and stuff to replicated a middle-eastern scene. This is a no-budget short, so ideally I can find some stuff that we can borrow for a one-day shoot. Any ideas where I can begin to look? I'm not ruling out buying some props, costumes, etc. But to get the look that I'm thinking, it's gonna take more stuff than I could ever afford to buy outright.
