Looking for help...setting up Webcast

Larry Rutledge

We need to set up a webcast for an upcoming 'dvxuser' event such that any of our members can tune in and watch the event live even if they cannot attend.

I understand the technology behind how the whole thing works, but having never explored webcasts before I'm feeling a bit over my head at the moment. It seems every query I make adds a plethora of additional questions for which I need answers. It was suggested that there are those here who have done this sort of thing before and might be able to assist in this matter.

The biggest challenge is the time frame. This will need to be set up in the next week or so (need to double check the date).

So, if you have experience setting up webcasts of this nature and would be interested in helping out either with information, or more, please PM me or e-mail me: mail@daysevenstudios.com

Also, I assume we will need specialized server resources to pull this off ... if this is true and you can help with this part, again please let me know (both, what I need and if you have something available we can use).

The event source will be in Southern California. I probably won't be there in person, but we have contacts on the ground to help us out. However, if you are in the area, that would make your expertiese/help all the better :)

Thanks in advance for any input, advice, and/or help you have on this matter.

Peace,
Larry
