Looking For cool animated "control center" graphics to appear on computer screen

Hello.

This is very last minute as this idea just came to me.

I am shooting tomorrow (for my Timefest entry) and would like to have 2 computer monitors displaying things like... meters, gauges, spinning earth w/satellite locations... things like you might see on the screens of CTU on 24.

I imagine that this could be something like a 5-10 second loop that I could run from my computers.

I know NOTHING about AE and very little about VFX in general.

I did talk to Mark Johnson (who I know is extremely busy) but his suggestions didn't really pan out for me.

So... I am posting this to see if anyone may have a simple (or complex!) display of cool moving graphics (meters bouncing, scopes oscillating, lights blinking...) that can be sent via the internet (as there is no time for anything but).

I have no idea if what I am asking for exists or if this is something you all have made at some time. Just looking for some cool stuff that you created and don't mind sharing.

Anything that I use will be given full credit in the film and pimped on my thread!

Let me know if you think you can help!!!

btw, I won't be glued to my computer today as I am off to set-up for the shoot. But I'll check as much as I can.

PM me or reply here on thread.

Many Thanks!

Hello cheez!

No, not yet. It is on my "next" list.

Is this what is going to kill me? Are people going to perhaps have something for me that I won't be able to use?

I was kinda hoping that I might find a file that was turned into a .mov or something.

I am terribly inexperienced in this department!

Try revostock (click the banner link below) and do a separate search on these words: 'control panel' 'data' 'technology' 'map' 'globe' and 'futuristic' - I found hundreds of cool animated control panels on there. Instant .mov downloads. Good luck!

graymachine, the still of that looks very cool. Unfortunately, I do not own AE yet. Maybe I should have posted this query elsewhere but I figured that something in AE is what I was look for. Only, it has to be deliverable in a .mov file or like.

pmgmedia, Thanks for that lead!!! Exactly what I was looking for. I really appreciate it.

Still will take suggestions as I won't be "creating" my displays until late tonight.

Thanks guys!!!

Rock on! I love this place.

Here's a cool one I just saw: It's file number 45649
