Looking for comment and advice for my demo reel

Hi Kenneth,

You have some pretty nice shots in there. Here's my 2 comments for you to consider.
I think the 2 intro shots needs fixing or changing as its lacks "punch" to hold the viewer.
2nd is the music. I think its too slow or too dramatic for your edits.

Hope that helps.

Hey thanks for the comment.

What kind of music would you recommend?

I've seen a lot of DP reels that has fast pace music. However, most of my shots are rather peaceful and I just thought that it wouldn't match so much if I put in fast pace music in.

As for the intro shots, I have already juiced out whatever I have. Maybe the next update, you will see something more impact on the first few shot : )

On the opening shots, you can regrade it to make them punchier, they weren't bad as a shot but rather the "lack of punch" on my comment were about the lack of contrast as the youtube compression made it milky. Remember, that people's attention span have gotten so much shorter now, if you can't grab them in the first 5 seconds, they will "flip channels".

added: A suggestion, I saw some scenes in there that are more "grabbing" and colorful, maybe you can switch them with your intro. The intros were dramatic shots, so you can place them somewhere in the mid part.
