Looking for cable trip hazzard cover

I'm looking for suggestions for something to go over a cable for an event. Not a bunch of cables like in a big live production, just a single SDI or HDMI cable going from the camera to a switcher. Sometimes tape isn't appropriate. I certainly don't want someone tripping.
Any advice?

Can you do an aerial cable run?

Local hardware store (or big-box Home Depot type store) will have cord covers that'll cost you something like $20-$30 for 10-15 feet. They roll up well enough.

Wow thanks for all the links, David!

I never thought of doing an aerial run. Not on this job, Rob. Maybe later

Good idea on checking the hardware stores, Jim.

I'm going to look at all these options. I suppose it would be a good idea to get ones heavy enough to avoid being kicked. The light duty ones might be nearly as much a trip hazzard as a cord.
Thanks guys!

I've seen light "home office" covers, heavier "workshop/office" covers, and nice industrial molded covers. The last are like $30+/foot or so, ime. The middle are fairly cheap at a good hardware store...and are heavy enough to stay put ime...and are sometimes available in bright colors... if yellow or orange won't ruin the gig's aesthetic, the extra visibility might be an extra warning to not step somewhere.
