Looking for affordable Vesa field monitor mount

[Rippie]

I'm going to be purchasing the new 1703 Small HD monitor.
I was told the C-stand/desk mount is an additional $180
and would love to know if there are any more affordable decent options out there?

My current Flanders Scientific monitor has this mount

which was excellent for C-stand use but I had to buy this

in order to use it as a desk stand which wasn't great at all.

Would love an all in one solution.

If nothings out there I of course will get the smallHD version but would love to explore some options.
Thanks guys.

Not sure about a desk stand, but I just bought one of these low cost suckers.... http://www.filmtools.com/ram-100-75mm-vesa-mount-5-8-receiver.html

Thanks David, if I decide to go that route that's a good option to know about.

Well, it seems to be out of stock everywhere I've seen, but if you can find one, this Kupo adapter seems to be the cheapest.

Using Google to search with the manufacturer's product code had a few stores listing this item as discontinued. Amazon.com show it with a shipping time of 1-4 months. So it's possible this item has been discontinued.

The reason I got the Ram mount was the fact that the Kupo was at least a month back ordered. That and the fact I hate to pay a ton of money for something like a monitor mount.
