Looking for advice get a look

Testing the waters on this one.

I have a scene that's supposed to be a flash back and wanted to make it kinda dreamy looking so I thought of using Magic Bullet for that kind of washed out cloudy look. Problem is, I don't like MB so I never used it. How do you guys get that look from MB or do you have any other suggestions?

I don't use MB, I use the stuff from Digital Film Tools....

But lately I've been experimenting with Matte painting and what not in photoshop.

I've come up with some pretty neat things working in photoshop. You could always export a scene as frames, bring one frame into photoshop and get it exactly how you want it using layers and what not. Create an action and apply it to ever frame in the folder and then bring that image sequence back into your editor. I know this seems labor intensive and it is. But I've been reading up on it, and once you wrap your brain around it, you realize the power.
