Hi, I was wondering if anyone else was cutting a feature 70% in a another language that Google can't translate with AVCHD and P2 footage, on a PC, with Premier CS5?
I've got 24gigs of ram, raided SSD, 6 core proc over clocked @ 4 GigHz and the over 300 subtitles I created in a .txt then ran through AE then into premier with dynamic link for a 100min film and the system can't keep up...
A. any codec that supports Alpha Chanel would be great that is smaller then QT animation...
B. any other work flow with working with a forien lanugaue would be great
I cut with the Universal language of "Performance first" even thought I didn't know what they where saying and then got the rough cut transalatoed. Came out ok. but I'm sure theres a better way.
