Looking for a Sound Effect

[DWHJR]

I am looking for a certain sound effect that starts from a like a High Bass to a low Bass

Like and EMP Blast, something of that sort.

Any Help?

You could try pink noise with an equalizer, then pitch shift it down.

Or soundsnap.com or freesound.org

if I was looking for such a sound effect, what would it be labeled as?

I'm having a hard time 'hearing' what an EMP blast may sound like... EMP that is ElectroMagnetic Pulses, that preceed the concussive portion of a nuclear blast pretty much take out electronics... sort of silently... the concussion blast... well, it takes everything else... then there's the heat...

Do you have some example from some film that could help identify what 'sound' you have in mind?

[Zak Forsman]

try "brown noise"
