Hello my fellow filmmakers. I’ve been making non-narrative shorts for some time now and am searching for someone whose interested in working together on similar projects in the future. I’m pretty much alright with the images i get but i’m not too good with sound, neither technically nor artistically and evocative sound is more than half the film for me. I’m searching for a sound designer/mixer to create sounds for the films i make. My films are peaceful and minimal, so someone whose fond of a similar mood i’m eager to hear from you! And of course if anyone needs some kind of video footage for their projects or a sound artist needing images, i’d be glad to work with you.

Also if you’re really interested just send me a private message for more precise information.

You and I have a similar aesthetic in some ways.

I have a fantastic new Sound Designer I could send your way, but based on the footage that you posted, I doubt we share the same New England base!

I'm not searching for professionals with years of experience, i'm way not in their league yet and i clearly understand they wouldn't work for free. I'm simply searching for a person who shares a similar understanding of film, no matter if he just started studying sound or simply is enthusiastic about it.

Finn > That would be great! No, i'm not from England, but that doesn't matter i'm perfectly comfortable with working online, i hope he is as well :)

It's perfectly cool to be doing no budget projects, I was just clarifying. And actually "pros" are often doing for free projects because you have to keep up your skills and sometimes the projects with budgets get thin or projects fall apart. That happens all the time and then you have time and ...
