The more I direct the less I like writing my own stuff and I don't know any writers that I trust so I figured I would come here. I'm looking for something more on the dramatic side, and if the script can be summed up in one word, it should be "clever." I'd like something that's along the lines of a charlie kaufman remake of "the machinist." I'll read anything and have some money to spend if you charge for your scripts. Also, I don't need it to be incredibly complex, I would love a simple but intelligent script, it also has to be possible for younger actors to play the parts (I could handle getting a few old people) or for the parts to be re-written.
