Hello,
We are 3 shooters/videographers/photographers/DPs/editors currently sharing a small studio in Tribeca, NYC. We have our eye on moving to a larger space around the block and we are looking for a 4th partner. This is ideal for someone like us, but you certainly don't have to be a shooter/DP. You can be a photographer, director, producer, editor, VFX graphic artist, etc.

This is us:

Jim Chan (HPX & Canon DSLR) http://visualgnome.com/
Matt Canada (AF100 & DSLR) http://www.controlaltmedia.com/
Kevin Koniq (Red, HVX & DSLR) http://www.ikoniq.com/

Previous to having a studio, we all worked from home and on-location with clients (still do). Working from home has its time saving/comfort benefits, but it definitely sucks when you have to meet with clients, not professional at all.

This is our current space. http://visualgnome.com/studio/

As you can see, we have a small green screen with multiple backdrops where we basically do talking head videos. It's not ideal for doing music videos, but with the space we are eyeing we can do that and have a cyclorama, a dressing room, meeting space, makeup room, and space to store your equipment. Previously, we all worked out of home and on-location with clients. We still work on-location, but it's been great that we have a space to do business, entertain clients, do editing sessions etc. It's all up to you want you want to do with the space, we are friendly and open to ideas. We make the studio available for rent and you can too. You can have film screenings, meetings, teach a workshop, host a DVXuser meeting, etc.

We ask that you are serious, responsible and highly motivated to do this. This is an office share arrangement. Rent and utilities would be split evenly. We are expecting each person to pay $500/mo plus utilities, so $550-$600/mo. We are looking to move ASAP, but we are looking for the right person too. Any other investment for the space, we can do that in time, but all decisions we all have to agree on.

We are open and friendly towards each other. We all have similar/redundant/missing equipment. It makes business/economic sense to share when possible. Plus, we hired each other as 2nd shooters/assistant depending on the project, definitely great when business is slow.

If you are like-minded person, we look forward to hearing from you.
PM me or email for more info.

Thanks!
Jim
