Just bought the Yongnuo YN-600 LED and so far I'm liking it. I thought the 160 LED from Yongnuo had decent color accuracy compared to others I've used and so far the 600 LED version seems to be the same light quality and a whole hell of a lot brighter. However, the provided light stand adapter is a 1/4 inch threaded "handle" which is supposed to slide ontop of a baby pin. Well, my main issue is that I get no articulation with this adapter, so I'm looking to replace it, possibly with a ball head adapter or something along those lines.
My concern is also that the light has some significantly weight to it, so I'm concerned that a ball head adapter wouldn't be able to handle the weight at a more acute angle.
Any suggestions?
