So I have been asked hundreds of times at my office if I would consider teaching a photoshop and digital imaging class. With this in the back of my mind I have been trying to figure out how to get my hands on my own HD projecter, for work of course.
Anyway, I finally figured it out. I told my wife that in order to have the class, I would need my own projetor, so the money i make from the class will go towards the projector. Well I finally ordered it tonight. After tons of searching and research I finally went with the Panasonic AE-900U. 720p Native, which will work great with my widescreen laptop, and uh, my uh, DVD player, and well, now we are going to have to get some HD cable :).
Anybody else have experience with this projector? I have read lots of good things.
But, Shhhhhhhhhh, nobody tell my wife that the super bowl is going to be great this year :)

Hahaha... gotta love being married, the fact is your reasoning to your wife bares immense similarity to mine.

Oh and by the way, now is the time to buy, Panasonic is offering a $400 rebate, Nice. But not at B & H, for some reason it is only a $200 rebate, so I ordered it from "projector people".

Yes I have had experience with this projector. I don't remember the contrast ratio [3000:1] 1100 ANSI lumens it was a little lower than similarily priced projectors but it has an automatically adjusting iris providing a deeper overall black level. It also produced better detail in heavily shadowed scenes.

This is a very nice projector. Have fun
