look im done

Played with mike's adapter today. Post grabs soon.

It's fun. Great work Mike, you're a smart dude.

These are some random clips using Mike's "my35 adapter" on a DVX100a, F5, no CC.

It is not meant to be a test of Mike's adapter just my first shots using it. There is a learning curve to using this thing as finding focus can be difficult and the flipped image is awkward to get used to.

I find the overall focus is a tad soft but some of what you will see in the clip is my error.

So far I like this adapter and for the price it's awesome.

More to come. I'm just real busy right now.

Nice work mike.

Maybe you could try using one of those little magnets to trick the camera to flip the image like they use in the 'enormousapparatus' setup:

The magnet flips the image so it is not upside-down but the image is still backward.

know what I mean?

oh yeah I forgot about that, well, I guess it's still a bit easier to look at than upside down, but not ideal for sure.

It flips upside-down and backward. The magnet makes it right-side-up but it stays flipped left to right.

It's weird to get used to but I think I'll figure it out.

Rook, your footage looked great. Makes me hope even more for a little windfall of cash so I can score one of these soon.

Nice. my lens its not backwards wierd... but I did not test other lenses.
your clip looked sweet really clean!

Thanks for posting rook!

Still no plans on it?? I'm not talking about the plans for the TC35 because the parts wouldn't make it look like Mike Dawson's adapter and he used 58mm spacers and macro's so it's different. Where is the groundglass??
