look im done

Even though this started in the DIY thread, I'm not sure that Mike's in the market anymore to share all the specs, but I could be wrong. He's had more than enough interest from members wanting to pay for his time/product, and everyone DOES need to make a living.

I'd go back through this thread from the beginning to see if they're listed out. If not, don't be surprised if they don't get listed now ... from a business standpoint. No different than Redrock Micro or others not really eager to list all their parts/places they buy from.

Thanks...

The setup is a DVX+ My35 + Nikkor 105mm at f2.5. You do see a wee bit of grain at this f stop, it is just at the tolerable limit for this adapter.

what was the blowup in the corner supposed to show?

So-called "Bad Bokeh" - it's when you have a blurred circle of light that has brighter edges than a center... it's supposedly called 'bad bokeh'... It was to show the G35 guys something..

Hey Mike,
Just some few questions. This is an old thread so your video's and grabs are gone. Could you post some newere ones or older ones so I can see some stuff and how much are these selling for now?

Can't check out the "footy" right now, as I'm capturing the pick up shots for our short right now, but looking forward to it.

I'm especially looking forward to the shoot out, because at least with the version of Letus35 we used today, I'm seeing quite a bit of noise/stuff on the screen ... mostly where it's exceptionally bright/blown out due to filming interior of a car, with the blown out parts being through the car windows, etc.

We'll see if the manufacturer of the Letus35 wants to loan the newer version for the shoot-out, other wise it'll be the model we're using now that'll be used.

Is you adapter fitted with a KONIKA mount?

My was for NIKON.

If it's the right mount it should work. Go to the camera store and test some out if you're worried. I found super wide lenses didn't flow.

I'm not actually sure about which mount it is. I can't find a company name on it. I assume it's the same as the other ones he made... guess I'll PM mike or check a camera shop tomorrow.

edit: okay, it is a Nikon. Apparently I wasn't being observant enough. Guess that answers my question...
