Longer Zoom Pin

Was wondering where I might purchase a longer zoom pin for the HVX. Is there a diameter I need to be aware of?

Thanks

I've never heard this requested. If zooming becomes a problem with the zoom pin, why don't ya look into a follow focus system. Zacuto makes these nice focus rings that can fit around the HVX... it's perfect for your situation. And with follow focus whips and what not... you could get someone way away from the ring if needed... or right next to it!

buy some stock metal rod, and have a friend or machine shop with a tap & die set thread you a longer rod. just be sure you get the thread size right, (e.g.; US vs SI units) so you don't strip the zoom ring.
