Hi all, it's been months since I have been active here on DVXuser. Last I was around, Zombiefest just finished and broken DVD was just released. Looks like alot has changed since.

Anyway, I have some catching up to do, but I am also here to share some work I've been shooting over the last year. I still shoot with the DVX, but the races and fashion shows rather have me do more photography now-a-days.

Only photoshopping I did really was zit removal on the models. Let me know what you guys think!

My current gear is a D70 with a SB-800 Flash.

The man himself, Carrol Shelby. Getting out of the debut of the 2006 GT500 in Barrett-Jackson, Arizona. The car auctioned 10 minutes later for over $600,000.00

There are all amazing. I would have to say I like the fourth one the best, not sure why, maybe it's because it's cinematic in a way. I like the second a lot but I think the floor has a few to many distractions on it. It almost looks like there is pieces of equipment in the left corner, but these are just my humble opinions. Great work.

P.S. What kind of lens do you use?

Hey thanks guys.
I like the 4th pic too. Unfortunately shots like that don't sell. :(
Magazines prefer full body/straight ahead. When I get a bad spot (Side) then I'll try to have a little more fun and frame it all artsy.

yah I need to photoshop out the light on the bottom right of the blue shot.

Lenses... <sigh> I use the dinosaur when I shoot races & runway.

Really wish I had a VR though. It comes through, but still slow on the focus.

Then there's my favorite lens: the 16mm f/2.8

Which is what I used to capture Carroll Shelby.

When I'm on the road, honestly I only carry 2 lenses. The 80-200 and the 16.
I only carry the medium lenses when I know I need portraits done or if I know I'll be shooting 1-5 people in group shots continuously at a certain distance.

However most the events I film require me to either be REALLY far, or REALLY close (tight spaces or crowd shoving).
