long render problem

i have an edit that is 1 hour 44 min. It consists of about 12 tracks with simple effects such as contrast applied to most of the video. Usually this take from 1-3 hours to render as an AVI. Today it is killing me and taking over 10 hours. The only thing I can think of that is different is that I had to turn one of the tracks (making up about an hour of the video) about 10 degrees because the tripod was not balanced. Would this be slowing my render time down since it has to render that change for each frame? Any other suggestions or problem anyone else has run into like this?

Thanks! I did watch it for a while and noticed that whenever i cut to another camera, the rendering speeds up tremendously, so that is the very reason that it has been so slow. Live and learn!! :-)
