I can't believe how badly you take some minor criticism. You seriously need to go be an accountant or something. You can't be an artist if you think all you will ever hear is "You Rock"

All you were given here was some pointers and you went off the deep end. Do you consider all your work to be 100% flawless and "the rest of the world is nuts" ?

God forbid you actually get some serious negative feedback on some work... Shooting rampage maybe? Jackass
 
WOW! You know, what Freudenberg, you just came off as really ungrateful. I looked back for your original post, but it's been deleted.

If you look at Neil's post you'll see you specifically asked for feedback. You get it, and you flip a lid.

Also, the first thing Neil did was patted you on the back with a "nice!". He's no liar, so he wouldn't have said that if he didn't think that it was really nice. But then he just gave his honest opinion on what it REMINDED him of. Who cares if the logo's completely different (in your opinion) than Dreamworks ... the fact is, it reminds people of Dreamworks, which it did to me also. You can't tell people they're wrong in a case like that ... it's just the truth about how they felt.

Next, I DID say that it may change with the music, but without it my PERSONAL feeling was that it needed to move away from the water more quickly ... to which you responded with "there is always someone to say thats not how id do it, thats too fast, too slow....... Hopefully the next time you ask for feedback you either:
  1. Let people know in advance you only want those to comment that will have only praise for your work
  2. Lock/Close the thread after you post your link & ask, to avoid the danger someone may give you their personal opinion with anything other than praise
  3. Get no one that responds because they don't want to be lashed back at, because of their honest opinion
  4. Don't post at all.

Sorry, Jarred ... I've cleaned up my post a little bit so there's less spice in it. Hopefully that's better while still conveying a point.
 
ehh, interesting. when you are dirnking your coke, and eating your popcorn... come on! it is nice! :D
 
I get so tired of people saying 'Hey, tell me what you think' and then crying like Virginia when they hear what they do not want to hear or less than stellar replies.

Especiallyafter some take the time to view and give you a response.

Grow up and quit wasting our time.
