Lomokino shutter repair and maintenance walkthrough

Great tutorial! I have a few questions for you, not necessarily on this but on the Lomokino itself.

1. How many shutter actuation's do you get out of one turn of the crank? Is it 1:1?
2. Is there anything useful in the "back end" of the camera, or is that just where the film goes?
3. Do you perhaps see any way of changing the shutter speed?

Thanks.

There are two actuations per rotation.

The entire film transport is dependant on the back end of the camera... I think I know what you're thinking... if it was in the front it'd be easy to mount a 1000' mag :) However... if the takeup spool on the mag can be driven by the crank I think an external mag mount would not be too difficult... I do plan to try it after I do a metal gear conversion later this month.

I'm not very familiar with changing leaf shutters... the closest I could get is for night photography simply removing the shutter blade and finding something to use as a lens cap and doing very long exposures.
