Logo redesign and/or Business Card "look"

I know there are some super talented graphic artists on here, and some aspiring ones as well.

I've been OUT of business cards for years. It's always embarrassing when someone asks for one, and I have to say "I'm out". What I don't say is how long I've been out, and why. Basically, I've not had any made since the last batch because it was a design I did, and I just wasn't pleased with it. I'll find myself being super impressed with other people's cards, but don't have the talent to do that kind of thing myself.

So, is there anyone out there that's looking to add to a port, or just likes to do this kind of thing for fun?

It's for my film production co. "Envision Entertainment". If it's a total rework of the logo (I'm open to it), then it'll go at the front of all future films, media content, etc in place of my current logo. Otherwise, I'm ultimately looking for a killer business card design, using the existing logo, or a rework.

This was a rework of a colored version, which was to go on a white background. If you dig the current logo, and want to work with it, then I can get you the PSD of this, or the original colored version.

Hey Norm,

I took a look at the logo, I must say it doesn't really bother me. I can help, but my only thing is that all the work I do is hand drawn. Not very practical I know, but it's a look nonetheless. Would it be ok if I messed with this? If you can PM me an email, I can send you some scans in the coming 48 hrs.

I do however like it. The only thing I would tweak is the typography on 'entertainment'.

Saw the logo, looks good. But my initial impression: "Spyglass Entertainment". But then, everyone will have an impression from everyone else's logos too.

I have to admit, I agree with milksac here. Offer a trade in kind to be fair.

milksac/Doc, sure, what Q's would you have? In this economy it's even tougher to try & get funding than before, but I can at least give advice on PPM's, LLC Agreements, strategies to try & obtain funding, etc.
