Logo ideas? anyone?

Alright... I'm finally getting around to making the website, and I've decided to come up with a logo I'm more satisfied with than the "makeshift" one I've been using. I just needed something quick, so I basically just used a "cool" font.

Company is called "4am Productions", and I've just been using this, but I was trying to brainstorm some ideas and haven't come up with too much. Anyone have any ideas on what I could do with it?

I'm not looking to get a free logo or anything... just some ideas would be greatly appreciated.

excuse the white outline's... this is just the first one I had laying on my desktop

Finally, got it to display. Just a quick thing I whipped up. Not sure how to make the white background go away.

EDIT: Here's another:

I like it. It reminds me of those old bedside clocks, that used to flip over litle cards to change the numbers.

I thought the same thing... thank you for your time Welton.

There's things I like about it, and things that don't really feel right. I think it's the font maybe... ?

Hmmm... to go along with the "clock" theme on your design, maybe a colon in between the "4" and "AM" to emphasize it - - - 4:AM

Then when I put the logo on video, I could have the colon blink like a clock. ?

Any and all ideas welcome. You don't have to go as far as welton did and actually make one up and post it. Just throw some written ideas out, and I'll make 'em up in photoshop/illustrator and post them to get feedback.

You could shoot an intro and use the best shot from it as the basis for your logo--an alarm clock strikes 4, goes off, and the figure in the bed does the old sit-straight-up move. Or picks up a hammer out of the bedside table drawer and smashes the clock perhaps. Or one and then the other or some variation...

I think I've seen 300+ short films that started with an alarm clock going off...

Welton, I'm really liking that second one. Wait, I mean the first... er... I dunno... they're both good. You rock, and it doesn't go unappreciated.

I already have an idea for the intro, and it sort of sets the "tone" of what I'm after. It's going to be a fairly simple line animation of a profile coming into the side of the frame, a simple line of a finger coming up the the profile's mouth, she'll "shhhhhhhh", and a small fog will come out (like your breath in COLD weather), and as the fog settle's, it will reveal the "4am Productions" logo. Sounds of crickets in the background. Maybe a star shine's at some point...

Here's a very quick illustration to kind of sum it up. I just did it in illustrator in about two minutes, literally.

Also, have you seen the "Imagine Entertainment" intro? I'm going for a "feel" like that. Calm, mezmerizing. I'm an Indie/Art Houst type of person, not a big blockbuster action flick guy, and I'd like a logo/intro that fits that style/mood.

Please don't take this illustration too seriously, like I said, I just did it in two minutes.

Thanks for all the help.
