logo help

[alveraz]

Could use some help with logo ideas for our llc, maybe some of you creative types can help? The name of the prodco is Lucent Films. We keep scratching the old logos. I'm partial to dirty and abstract/alternative ideas. Anyway, if you can help that would be great.

I'm not good at graphic design, and seem often to be even worse at ideas...but when I read the name, "Lucent Films" I had an image in my mind of a gritty, cement wall (like in a basement in a horror film) with an old, yellowing bare light bulb hanging from a ceiling fixture, with no cover/shade and a chain haning beside it (you know the kind that is made up of little metal balls).

Just a thought...Good luck!

Intriguing idea actually. Thanks, Larry.

Interesting idea, overland...I particularly like the second one, but wrong name "Lucent Films", not "Lucid Pictures".

[Erik Olson]

D'oh!

Hey, that's kinda cool. Maybe in a rusted metal it would look even cooler?

[Erik Olson]

I can do rust. How rusty you want it? Surface rust or eroding acid rust?

Nice work, overlandfilms. I really it!

I like the third one the best...with the "lit" L and the illumination behind the eroding plaque. Great job!
