Logo Help!

Me and a friend are working on a new website for our freelance work and right now we are trying to create a new logo. Im just looking for opinions on these 2 and ideas for something new. let me know which you like better or if you think we need to start over. thanks!

I personally like the softness, round end points of the second logo mark—but the first logo mark is a more obvious play on "media" (having the black container and black play button/rectangle. I think they're both well thought out, but favor the more open and dynamic second version.

I'm not keen on the logotype for either though.

thanks thats pretty much our thoughts exactly. Were having a friend do a 3rd one for fun and didnt show him these so he wont get anything stuck in his head

Bottom one - but I like the black font, and the red one is good APART from the horrible 'g' characters - they spoil it. I do like the triangle design - I would keep that and just work on the red font to find a normal looking G.
