Logo Help!

Hello DVXuser's,

Earlier this week I've had a light-bulb moment, and the light-seed has slowly grown and taken shape. I've been almost obsessed about it, designing the architecture in my head. Many sleepless nights later the core foundation of a major project has taken root in my life.

Taken my first baby steps, I've started out on the Logo! I know some of you may think its utterly nuts to think about logo's EVEN before you start a project. but I simply couldn't help myself.

I've attached below my first rudementary stab at my proposed logo:

I'm happy with it, however I feel I'm missing some kind of logo?

I really badly need ideas, the '3' is important in this project (a fusion of three core technologies).

any creative help would be highly appreciated.

I apologize in advanced, as I can't talk about what the project is about (until I having a working prototype).

I believe this has not yet been done before, thus for that reason I don't want to talk about any details of the project. all I can say is it may be successful or a massive failure! but I'll never know unless I try.

My immediate reaction was something simple like a slash in the shape of a backward 'S'.
Kind of a vector/hand drawn but not sloppy. Closed and pointy at the ends and sort of thin.
You know, a slash kind of effect.

//And some text letter or other small shape of some sort.

But I'd have to think on it. (Just Brainstorming.)

You have to decide your brand. Edgy and modern? Business formal? Young? Exciting? Relaxed? What do you want it to say?
 
Maybe consider sticking with the "Das3h" as your branding image, then throw a 3-4 word phrase in smaller letters underneath it so that it is both centered and justified. Just a thought! Good luck on your project!
 
Upon first looking at it, it looks as though the "S" is cubed. I'm not really sure what you are trying to convey?

I'd have to say Modern, Professional and Innovative.

That's exactly what I can't decide between! the only reason I think a symbol would help towards software icons etc..

Your correct the S is cubed, the full acronym is DASSSH.

I guess what I'm trying to convey is:

Speed, Flexibility, Integration (three in one)
 
How about something simply graphic like…

…or something like that where the "3" becomes part of Engine. Just a thought.
