logo and text is strech on timeline

Hey there Im working with a 1280 by 1080 timeline and my mate sends me some titles that he has made in photoshop and they are 1280 by 1080 as well but when i drag them down to the timeline it is logo and text is strech!When i exported the video to the same setting that vimeo tell you to uses its still the same! please help!!

FCP will auto-adjust the motion tabs of an object that's square pixel aspect being dragged into a non-square aspect timeline, here you'll need to do it by hand.
