I just saw this was release on apple.com

I have never used logic. I have pro tools LE w/ the mbox. I was thinking about getting logic pro 7 but I wasn't sure if I would be getting the most of things I already have. The biggest question I have is will I be able to export OMF files in FCPHD and import\export from logic? Let me know what you think. Thank you all for your help.

I just went ahead and ordered it.  It looks really cool.  I also found that OMF isn't that great XLL is better (I think I said that right). It sounds like it was better to get logic then spend 1G on the pro tools OMF coverter.  I'm getting so much more for the much.  Plus you can get this on ebay for 750 instead of 999.  Let me know your thoughts

The XML will work a lot better with FCP, but OMF is more universal. Either way, I think Logic 7 promises to be Ultra-Cool, and the new XML support is going to make it a FCP editors must have. If they improved the noise reduction effect and XML/OMF import, Logic is going to be the absolute best in it's category.
