i have tried to gain some knowledge about how to get the best results from my hdv-material. i have come to the conclusion that this is the best workflow (for me anyway, working with a docu-project).
1: capture hdv on camera
2: log the footage directly to prores in fcp. like deescribed on this page:

3: edit everything as prores.
4: output to a blue-ray disc using compressor.
do you agree that this is a good (best) way to do it in order to preserve best possible quality from capture to output?
was hoping for some input on this before i capture all my material to prores. it takes a lot of time to capture to fcp, so i want to make sure i make the right decision.
