I have a hour long talking head clip that I was capturing today with Vegas 7.
Iam using a different HD and once it was done, I ended up with aprox 22 clips. Am I missing a setting in Vegas or is the HD the culprit?:lipsrseal
Maybe; not sure. It usually only splits scenes based on metadata breaks; I'd have to think that your scene stayed pretty static, right? No major changes in the scene? If so, it might be a different problem.
Yeah, It was a camera on sticks shooting on a Sony 370. DVcam. Just followed the speaker for an hr. Has this got you stumped David? Just so you know, My deck in the edit rm is a Panny DVCpro. It will playback DVcam though.
Well, that's an added wrinkle. The DV capture program is optimized to capture DV. DVCAM is very, very similar, but it's not exactly the same. It could be an issue.
Hmm. I know that in the Panny deck menu, you can set the format playback ie.. DV,DVcam,DVCpro25 or 50. Since I shot on the 370, thats DVcam25, and thats what the deck is setup for.Do you think the the HD that Iam using needs to be formatted a specific way?
