Log and Transfer with sony HDR-CX110

Sorry I tried to search this but only found log and transfer answers to different cameras.

I am creating a highlights video and I am having to use multiple peoples footage from different cameras and memory cards. All the footage I have done so far, i plugged in the camera with a USB chord, dragged its files onto my computer, went into FCP and clicked log and transfer, then clicked import and found the PRIVATE folder associated with each cameras footage. With my friends sony HDR-CX110, i dragged the cameras folders into my computer, but there is no PRIVATE folder and nothing will import into log and transfer. What do I need to do? I see both CPI and MTS files in these folders, and I have used MTS before so I assume this will work somehow.
 
What format does that camera shoot- are you sure it's supported in FCP? Not all cameras are you know- especially the cheaper ones that shoot to cards...

the info about the camera says:
High Definition
MPEG AVC/H.264
1920 x 1080i (60 fps)

Standard Definition
MPEG2

I have read other people saying they log and transferred with FCP but I cant just drag the folders in like I did with my vixia camera.
 
Be sure you have all of Sony's L&T plugins installed. I think they have like three different ones.
