Log and Capture 16:9 in FCP

I am having trouble importing dvx convertion lense footage. If I press esc to end capture it loses 16:9 formate. If I let it hit a timecode break everything is fine. What's the deal am I extreamly stupid or what?

I'm not sure why you are getting this, but to fix it all you have to do is go to the clip, right click, and go to settings, and then click the anamorphic box and it will put it back in the correct format.
