This is an annoying feature of Premiere that I've encountered for quite a while now, but never was able to find a solution so I figure I'd put it up here to see if anyone has a solution/work around for it. Premiere allows you to save the setting of any effect as a custom preset and name them, which is great, and I use the feature regularly. Except that the way that the effect is set up in the custom bin, the name aren't "locked," so that many times I would find myself clicking on a preset to drag it into the timeline and have the renaming field pop up instead. I would then hit a hotkey and accidentally rename the preset to something else. Very annoying. Does anyone know of a way to lock the preset so that you can't rename it?
