location scouting: best websites?

[Randall_Oelerich]

What are the best websites for finding locations to rent for indies? I know of reel-scout.com, are there other recommended sites to use? Or say I want to rent a 4-5 bedroom house on a lake for a location, would i be better served just scouting vacation rental property sites? Besides such a house, I will also be needed to use a college lecture hall and hallway.

Usually we don't want to go very far from base for a couple of reasons, 1 travel, 2 checking out the location 3 negotiating, usually on site.

So local agents are usually the go, the bigger the shoot the more details, eg: traffic and security.

Cheers.
