Hey guys. I just wanted to share some location scout photos we took out in the desert. They are up at our site, which is still under construction but you'll get the idea. Here goes...

I know my shamless attempt to get this back up top is completely brash and immature...but I had to let you folks know that the site has been completed this evening, and we're pretty proud of it's progress. Give it a whirl when you guys get the chance. It's a simple design, but I think it accomplishes ataining the 'feel' of the film.

Looks good, I assume it matches the feel of the movie. My only problem is that you have to log in to see the scout photos. I would like to look at them, dont don't have any particular urge to sign up for anything.

Good point, I guess I should ask the web guru to set it up for general view, however it just takes a moment to sign-up, and if anything you can always come back and check on our progress, you know, support us ;)

Your information is private, and we will only use it for good, never evil ;)

Yeah, I was going to go look at them until i noticed i had to sign up to see them... my effort doesn't go that far...

The thing to realize is that people are interested, but more than that, people are lazy. You want to make information about your movie very easy to access, in hopes that it will grab our attention so we want to revisit the site when the film is complete.

Yeah, don't take it as we don't care about your work, we really do... we're just also REALLY lazy... if we can get to it in a few clicks we'll definitely check it out, but once it requires us to fill out a form... it's much less work to close the window...

I sent a message to the web guy. Thanks for the thoughts, I'm trying to get that done for access. One thing though, we've gained over 30 registered users in the last day or so, so there's something to be said for marketing down the road with the folks supporting us by signing in, hmm. Not that we plan to spam, but it's nice to have folks around to read messages when it comes post-game time.

Quick question, did you guys notice that the square images under the title were links to other areas in the site? I was curious if folks could tell. You have to move your mouse over them to know, leading you to cast&crew, a thanks area, etc.. Let me know, if people are not mousing over this, then we'll work on it. I was hoping to give people the benifit of the doubt, but as you guys mentioned, filmmakers are just lazy... ;D

TC, Matt & Thin. Well, I gave it my best but the producer swore that if we kept it there I wouldn't be sorry. Anyway, we've had over 60 registered in the last three days...so I guess it has to stay a registered forum, but damn, I sure wish the dvxuser crew would come over. Don't make me beg...but I will if you ask me to. :'(

Look, I'm even crying for support.
