I have never worked with local tv station before. If I submit my video (ads video) to them what format they will accept? Also, how much they charge you air time. I know it depends when the air it? but I am sure the price is different in every state? How much they edit your ads?

Thanks

Call the station where you live and ask for the advertising department and they'll be happy to talk to you.

I wish I knew because I don't work there. The Ghetto stations stills uses SVHS as their master format. You have to call that company up and ask them that question. We don't know cause we don't work there. Mostly likely if there current, it would probably be DVCPRO format. But I don't know.

Ask em. They usually need a beta sp but some require digibeta. Soem may even accept DV. You'll have to get the rundown from em as to how they want it. They'll tell you where to start bars n tone, slate and how much black to put before the shaw which will start at one hour even. Drop frame is your friend for broadcast.... but they'll print all of this out for you.
