LiveType help

I successfully matted a "LiveFont" pro series text yesterday on my powerbook and took it to my Avid project on PC, and successfully superimposed the key over the existing video. Today I am on a G5 and cannot figure out how to do it. Basically I want to take a LiveFont into Avid as a matte key...what am I missing??

Well what you could do is export your clip for LiveType, and then edit the LiveFont into the clip, and export back out to FCP or Avid. That would be the easiest to do...

Check your preferences and make sure Render Background ISN'T checked.

When you render the movie out of your livetype project, it should matt automatically when imported into your editor. :badputer:

Thanks for the help guys! I was rendering backround, and then exporting .mov! thanks for getting me on track.
