Livetype and Motion

When using Livetype or Motion, is there a way you can view your work on an external monitor before you render the movie and save the file? I guess I could send it to FCP and do it there but was wondering if there was a way right from either Motion or LT.
 
Motion has the ability to send video directly out to a monitor in much the same way Final Cut does. I dont think LiveType has the same ability however.

In Motion, in the preferences dialog box, you can select your video output under the "output" tab.
 
With Livetype though, save out a live type file, call it whatever. Cut that file, not a rendered out quicktime movie, into FCP. Then with Livetype and FCP both open you can make changes in LT and see them instaneously in FCP. Not exactly what you were looking for, but not too bad a work around.
