I come from a background of DSLRs. I'll be shooting a live dancing performance where there is lots of movement and action. It will be about 2 minutes long...multiple cameras set up in various spots around the arena.
I'm thinking pulling focus with the DSLRs will be too difficult (even with a high aperture) and would like to rent some high quality HD cameras that can really cover this event mainly using autofocus. My mentality is that this is a one shot - all or nothing - job and I really need it to be done right.
Does that sound like a good idea? And if so, any camera recommendations out there? I would be renting.
