Hey guys, is there any editing software out there that can do do live mulit-cam editing that records video feed, and has either its own NLE or has the ability to output XML for revisions after recording?
What I'm looking for is a way to create a foundational edit live, and then have the ability to quickly make changes after the fact, either staying in the program, or exporting the XML and footage to finish with logos, CC, and fix poor camera movements that may have been recorded in the original live edit. I plan to do A LOT of content this way so I'm looking for an efficient and fast turn around.
Ideally I would have 3 or 4 C300s with HD-SDI going into the new Mac Pro or topped-out PC, along with an audio feed, editing live with a switcher, with all the video streams being recorded in a master codec, and then sending the recorded session to an editor to quicky CC, add logos, change camera feed if needed, and send to the client.
