Litepanels Tungsten vs. Daylight Balanced

I have a DVX100b and I'll be doing a lot of run & gun shooting in Miami for Superbowl week. I have a budget for some additional equipment from the client. I get to keep the stuff after the shoot. I'm looking at this on-camera setup at B&H: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?Ntt=LIDVLPKFP&N=0&InitialSearch=yes

The other question is this, in general, I do most of my shooting indoors, am I better off with the Tungsten version here: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...ls_MP_DVLPK50TP_Single_Tungsten_DV_Flood.html and gelling for Daylight when outside? Or is there no difference.

Thanks in advance.

That's a whole lot of cash for a 7 watt light fixture.
Have you considered THIS?
The 900 model will take a Panasonic battery if you want to keep one set of batteries.

"Gels
The included gel kit contains many colors and a tungsten balanced filter."

Get a daylight balanced one. The thing is that the blue gels to match it to daylight will cut much more light than the orange gels will, and so that will definitely affect how much output you get from the light.

It may be a lot for a light...but that's really a good buy. I've used them before a few times and I've loved them. Definitely something you'll keep around for a long time.

Wasn't aware of the comer light. Because the money doesn't come out of my pocket I'd like to get the most bang for their buck.

Thanks for the info on Daylight vs, Tungsten balance.

I own the light panels daylight flood version and use it several times a week. Love it. Shot the Golden Globes last night with it for TV guide. Very versatile. Expensive but a work horse.
