Litepanel MicroPro LED begins blinking?!

At first I thought it was because the batteries got so hot, but it happened again later with different batteries. Has anyone experienced this? Any ideas?

Try a fresh set of alkalines 1.5 V if you have been using rechargeables.
Rechargeables may be old or cannot keep the charge and voltage is lower than the minimum
operating voltage of the light. If it blinks as soon as you turn he unit on with the fresh set, then most likely the led driver is on it's way out.

I was using rechargables at first, but I seem to remember it happening with some duracell also but I can't be sure. How can the LED be going on it's way out if I've only used this on a few shoots?!

Is the panel blinking, or are you just seeing it in the video as a flicker?

If it's a flicker, are you using a CMOS (rolling shutter) camcorder or DSLR?

Nope it's straight up flashing on and off. And the longer I turn it off for the longer it starts to work again until inevitably blinking again

The leds do not blink when they are on their way out. It is not the leds but either the driver is defective or most likely the batteries don't have enough juice . Did you try a new set of non-rechargeable alkalines ?
The driver is an electronic circuit/device in the fixture that makes sure the leds receive the proper current to run them at their dimming range without going over the current limit of the leds. If the driver is defective,
then all sorts of things can happen especially if it is the PWM (pulse width modulation) type, such as color shift to more blue when the leds are over current, thermal cutoff circuitry cannot make up it's mind to either
shut off or resume, modulation frequency timing is way off due to some defective circuit/chip. If you put in a fresh set of alkalines and it still behaves the same, then it's due for repairs, in my opinion.
