Just found out about the new RGB LiteMats, which they are calling StarDust or Star Dust. I'm sure you'll see them at NAB, and probably brochures by April.

They are shooting for a summer release, but conservatively, an autumn or even winter release for general public, depending on testing and unforseen issues.

Apparently they are keeping similar wattage and voltage.

I'm really looking forward to these units! I know some folks have been using custom made versions of the LiteMats that are already RGB, but I have never seen one personally. There's one for rent on ShareGrid LA, though, for $240/day.

Anyways, just thought it was interesting news, thought I'd share here.
 
Yeah, me too!

They have a really cool line-up for location shooting. For example, a litemat 4 type of unit for overhead, and their lite-tile for super large sources right up against a wall in a tights location. With RGB capability I think it would really be super versatile
 
I just bought the whole Litemat Plus series and can't wait to put my hands on it! it should arrive in a week or so. It's been a long wait, i think I've ordered these 3 or 4 months ago... an RGB version of these Litemats would be a great thing..love to see more info about this! I saw this during IBC, interesting product really..,

Can you share pricing with us? I saw the Plus series at NAB and was told they'd be avail soon but their website still isn't listing them for sale.
 
"their website still isn't listing them for sale". yeah I always found that to be strange!but I think they are selling well anyway and don't have the time to update their website, I wrote them a few times and they were very helpful indeed and replied quickly and they gave me a list of dealers in EU and a quote
Just to give you an idea about pricing; Litemat plus 4 kit $2,635.00 from Litegear,I bought it from a dealer here in UE for €2,480.00
